Scholarship Support
Seventy-percent (70%) of proceeds from this year’s event will support the Dr. James Robertson Jr. Make a Difference Scholarship and 30% of proceeds will support the Dr. James Robertson Jr. Memorial Endowed Scholarship. Students and student organizations may use these funds to make a difference in the lives of patients or students through a college event or in the community to leave a lasting legacy through making a difference in the lives of those around them.
The Dr. James Robertson Jr. Make a Difference Scholarship is driven by the spirit, leadership, and professionalism that Dr. Robertson instilled within the Texas A&M Rangel College of Pharmacy. The passing of Dr. Robertson in 2012 was a tremendous loss; however, rather than mourning that loss silently, the students of the Rangel School of Pharmacy feel joyously compelled to keep the memory of Dr. Robertson alive. They would like to share memories of Dr. Robertson with those who did not have the opportunity to experience the living energy of a man who exuded warmth, respect, and a passion for sharing knowledge. It is that compulsion in the hearts and minds of our students that the Dr. James Robertson Jr. Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 2014 to honor his spirit and celebrate his impact.
