Give to the School of Pharmacy

The Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy family includes more than 300 alumni and countless friends who strive to improve the quality of lives in our communities and advance the profession of pharmacy. The commitment of these dedicated individuals is vital to our success.

To ensure that the Rangel School of Pharmacy continues to attract students of high caliber, retains and recruits the brightest and most committed faculty and staff, conducts cutting edge research and impacts the community, the college is committed to growing its endowment, scholarship dollars and research funds.

Funding Priorities

The Center for Pharmaceutical Research

The Center for Pharmaceutical Research seeks to create a public-private enterprise that advances the research and development of safe, timely and cost-effective pharmaceutical products.

Faculty endowed chairs and professorships

Top-notch faculty members attract not only other superb professors but also superb students. Because state funds cover only basic faculty requirements, private support is more critical than ever.

Professional student scholarships

Some of the best pharmacy students can’t afford today’s tuition, but endowed scholarships open a world of possibilities because they provide benefits to current and future generations.

Dean's Circle of Giving

The Dean's Circle of Giving is a group of alumni and friends committed to furthering the goals of the Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy.

To be a member of the Dean's Circle, alumni and friends are asked to commit $1,000 per year. Contributions to the Dean’s Circle will be used to increase support to the many programs at the Rangel School of Pharmacy, including scholarships, diversity initiatives, service learning outreach, guest lecturers and visiting faculty. Contributions to the Dean's Circle, as designated by the donor, can also be used to set up a matching fund that will be used to match Class Gifts ($20 and over) made by students.

Participation in the Dean's Circle does not limit your ability to designate your contribution for a particular use such as a scholarship fund or an endowment. Your gift ensures we can send a clear message that there is a strong group of alumni and friends making a significant commitment to the future growth of the Rangel School of Pharmacy.

Dean's Circle members gather on occasion to share ideas about the Rangel School of Pharmacy and to attend special receptions with the dean. Members are invited to all college events in thanks for their support and commitment.

Your gift. Your way.

We cannot do this alone, join us as we strive to fulfill this mission. Donations made to the Rangel School of Pharmacy support:

  • Financial assistance for students
  • Faculty recruitment, development and retention
  • Cutting-edge research
  • Programming, outreach and services for underserved populations

All gifts, regardless of size, are greatly appreciated and are essential to the growth and development of the Rangel School of Pharmacy.
