ASPIR2E

BD0A0158.JPGAggie Student Pharmacists Initiative for Recruitment|Retention and Education (ASPIR2E)

The ASPIR2E program at the Texas A&M University Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy (RSOP) is an exceptional resource for pre-pharmacy students and matriculated Aggie student pharmacists. It was established in June 2018 with a grant from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s Minority Health Research and Education Grant Program. The purpose of ASPIR2E is to help future and current student pharmacists achieve academic success. All students are encouraged to participate as our school’s mission includes developing and inspiring a diverse group of future leaders in pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences.

journey to become a pharmacist

“I found the ability to connect with my peers and faculty a great introduction to pharmacy school. Coming into the program I was very nervous but at the end of it, the peer mentors and faculty made me feel comfortable. The insight gained from this program is something that should not be taken granted for and any student would benefit from this program.”
