CVS Health Foundation Spanish Pharmacy Student Scholarship

The CVS Health Foundation is pleased to present Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy a grant of $9,000 to be used for scholarships awarded to Spanish speaking PharmD students. CVS is proud to be able to support our students as they complete their pharmacy education.

This scholarship is available to full-time P1, P2, P3, and P4 PharmD students in good standing at the Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Recipients will be selected regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or national origin.

 Number of Awards and Award Amount

Nine (9) $1,000 scholarships.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must: 

• Be enrolled full time at the Texas A&M Rangel School of Pharmacy for the AY 24-25.
• Be in good academic standing as defined by the institution.
• Be proficient in Spanish.

Submission Requirements

1. A typed one-page, single-spaced essay describing financial need, how you meet the eligibility requirements, how the funds will be used and your career goals.
2. An application.

**IMPORTANT NOTE:  The nine scholarships will be given to those who are fluent Spanish speaking students.  If you are a fluent Spanish speaking student, please indicate this in your essay and provide some evidence of your proficiency (e.g., I routinely teach a class in Spanish at the local community center) **. 

The required supporting documents for each scholarship must be uploaded at the time the completed application is submitted in order to be considered.

Please submit your application and supporting materials by 5 PM on February 1^st, 2024. Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 2024 and funds will be disbursed at the start of the 2024-2025 academic year.
