Kingsville Campus

Kingsville Campus Life

The Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy’s Kingsville campus is located in the historic South Texas city, a friendly, safe community home to nearly 30,000 residents and the legendary King Ranch. Corpus Christi and its beaches are just 40 miles to the northeast of Kingsville and the Rio Grande Valley is less than two hours by highway.

Located on the campus of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, the Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy not only shares the location but also the spirit of the university. The School of Pharmacy student body is active in the collegiate as well as the regional community. Our students participate in supporting the university’s many sports teams, including football, basketball and baseball. Campus festivals ranging from spring flings, fall carnivals, music and concert events, movie nights and college nights at local eateries and pubs all have a strong pharmacy student showing.

The School is located in a vibrant residential community, complete with many student housing options. Apartments, dormitories and suite style accommodations afford a close proximity to many restaurants, shopping centers and entertainment venues.

About the Region

The Gulf Coast Region includes Corpus Christi, the “Sparkling City by the Sea,” which is among the most popular tourist destinations in Texas. Corpus Christi boasts the Texas State Aquarium, Lexington Museum on the Bay, miles of pristine beaches, a museum district, several golf courses, restaurants and major shopping, as well as a Double-A minor league baseball team and the American Bank Center, which hosts numerous entertainment events throughout the year.

The Rio Grande Valley Region offers a unique experience in history and culture, with easy access to the white sand beaches of South Padre Island. Family festivals, fantastic shopping, Schlitterbahn Waterpark Resort, numerous golf courses, outstanding fishing and a designation as the Birding Capital of the World make the region a great place to explore.

The Wild Horse Desert includes a Kingsville, a city named for the historic King Ranch, located just outside the city limits.
