Dr. James Robertson Jr. Memorial Scholarship

In loving memory of Dr. James Robertson Jr., the Dr. James Robertson Memorial Fund was established in 2012 to honor his contribution to the Texas A&M Rangel College of Pharmacy.  This scholarship is available to P2, P3, and P4 PharmD students enrolled at the Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy for the 2025-2026 academic year. 

Number of Awards and Award Amount

Two (2) $1,000 scholarships.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a P2, P3 or P4 student in the 2025-2026 academic year.
• Demonstrate financial need. Need is to be determined by the applicants FASFA, TASFA, or ISFAA on file with the TAMU Office of Financial Aid.  If a student does not have one of these on file, they will not be eligible for any need-based scholarships.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater.

Submission Requirements

1. A typed one-page, single-spaced essay describing how you meet the eligibility requirements, how the funds will be used and your career goals.
2. AY 2025-2026 COP Scholarship Application

 The required supporting documents for each scholarship must be uploaded at the time the completed application is submitted in order to be considered. 

Please submit your application and supporting materials by 5:00 PM on February 3^rd, 2025. Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 2025 and funds will be disbursed at the start of the 2025-2026 academic year.
