About The Office of Finance and Administration
The mission of the Office of Finance and Administration is to provide excellent service, stewardship and compliance through leadership in finance and administration of the Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy. The Office of Finance and Administration consists of strategic administrative areas that work in collaboration with the Texas A&M Health Science Center and Texas A&M University to meet the needs of the students, faculty and staff of the School of Pharmacy. The Office of Finance and Administration has multiple areas of responsibility and oversight including but not limited to the annual budgeting process, financial operations, procurement services, contracts administration and Human Resources. The members of the Office of Finance and Administration strive to practice and demonstrate the core values of the School; Care, Compassion, Competence, Community and Collaboration.
The Pharmaceutical Research Facility (PRF) works in conjunction with The Office of Finance and Administration. The mission of the PRF is to provide the highest quality accredited facility and services possible to affiliated faculty and staff for the opportunity to conduct quality research.
The PRF is accredited by the Association for the Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC). PRF offers housing for most standard laboratory animals and the capability to house special requirement studies such as those needed by biohazardous projects.
